Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups crispy rice cereal (Rice Chex, Crispix, or similar)
- 3 cups pretzels (mini twists or sticks)
- 1 1/2 cups roasted peanuts (or mixed nuts)
- 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 2 cups white chocolate chips (or white candy melts)
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil or shortening (optional, for smoother melting)
- 1 cup holiday sprinkles (optional but fun!)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add: cereal, pretzels, peanuts, mini marshmallows. Gently toss to combine everything evenly.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add the white chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth and fully melted. Tip: You can also melt it using a double boiler.
- Pour the melted white chocolate over the cereal mixture. Stir thoroughly until everything is evenly coated in chocolate.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the coated mixture into an even layer. Add sprinkles on top if desired. Let sit at room temperature for about 30–40 minutes (or refrigerate 10–15 minutes) until completely set.
- Once firm, break into chunks and store in an airtight container.
Notes
- Ensure that the white chocolate is fully melted and smooth before mixing.
- Use a variety of nuts for an interesting flavor combination.
- For quicker setting, use the refrigerator.
