Description
This Condensed Milk Pecan Pie is a rich and decadent dessert that combines smooth, creamy filling with the satisfying crunch of pecans. It’s perfect for any occasion and makes a delightful end to any meal!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans (plus extra halves for topping)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate, ensuring it is pressed evenly along the bottom and sides. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, eggs, melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Gently stir in the chopped pecans, making sure they are evenly distributed in the filling.
- Pour the filling mixture evenly into the prepared pie crust.
- Arrange the pecan halves on top for decoration.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown. A knife inserted near the center should come out clean.
- Once baked, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack. This will allow the filling to set further before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the pie is completely cooled before slicing to ensure that it holds its shape.
