Ingredients

  • 1 cinnamon stick or ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp honey (raw if possible)
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 slice fresh ginger (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil and add cinnamon and ginger.
  2. Simmer 3–5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in honey and lemon.
  4. Strain if needed and drink warm.
