Description

This Cinnamon-Sugar Pizza with Crescent Rolls is a warm, buttery, pull-apart treat that tastes like a cinnamon roll and a dessert pizza had a delicious baby! With golden, flaky crescent dough, melty butter, and a sweet cinnamon-sugar topping, it’s the easiest dessert or breakfast you’ll ever make. Perfect for holidays, brunch, or whenever you need something sweet fast.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Optional toppings:

  • Cream cheese drizzle (softened cream cheese mixed with a little powdered sugar and milk)
  • Chocolate chips or caramel drizzle

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch round or square baking pan with butter.
  2. Prepare the dough: Unroll the crescent dough and press it evenly into the pan. Seal the perforated edges so the dough forms one smooth “pizza crust.”
  3. Butter the base: Brush the melted butter generously over the surface of the dough.
  4. Make cinnamon sugar: In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the buttered dough.
  5. Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is puffed, golden, and fully cooked in the center.
  6. Add optional toppings: Allow to cool slightly, then drizzle with cream cheese frosting, caramel, or melted chocolate. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  1. The crescent dough bakes quickly, so keep an eye on it during the last few minutes to prevent over-browning.
  2. If you prefer softer, gooier centers, pull the pizza at 12 minutes. For a crispier crust, bake the full 15 minutes.
  3. For extra cinnamon-sugar flavor, sprinkle a touch more sugar on top right after it comes out of the oven it melts slightly and adds sparkle.
