  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter

For the Chocolate Topping

  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

1. Prepare the Base

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mix together melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and 1 1/2 cups peanut butter until smooth and fully combined.
Press the mixture firmly and evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.

2. Make the Chocolate Topping

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter.
Microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth and glossy.
Pour the chocolate over the peanut butter base and spread evenly with a spatula.

3. Chill and Serve

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
Slice into squares or bars.
Optional: sprinkle with flaky sea salt for a gourmet finishing touch.

Notes

  1. These bars are technically no-bake, but baking the base for a few minutes creates a firmer structure. You can skip the oven step if preferred.
  2. When melting chocolate, microwaving slowly and stirring frequently prevents scorching and ensures a silky finish.
  3. The bars slice more cleanly when fully chilled use a hot knife (just dip in hot water and dry) for perfect edges.
